- I know that .Z and .tar files are unix compression. I also have the
- software to do this in Dos. The problem is, I can decompress a .Z file,
- but when I go to unarchive a .tar file I get an archive not found error.
- I know the .Z decompression works, because I have tested it on text filez.
- I decompress the .Z file, and then I try to unarchive the .tar file.
- I am usinf Ltar, and also detar, which I got off of wuarchive.wustl.edu.
- Anybody familiar with these programs who can help?
