  22.   are you interested in the way SCI (the Scalable Coherent Interface) keeps
  23. cache coherency accross ringlets? Snooping is impossible since there is no
  24. exchange of signals accross separate ringlets. So, it must be done via
  25. messages and directories.

  27.    SCI keeps a distributed coherency directory scheme (opposed to centralised
  28. directories very much used today but very delicate and non scalable) which is
  29. source of many discussions but proposes a very elegant, scalable and robust
  30. solution.
