- I have heard from several sources that when AI algorithms are proven
- successful and mainstreamed into the rest of the computer lore, they
- are no longer considered AI. For example, from Jim Hendler's post,
- "AI In the Year 2025 - Responses":

- and will no longer be considered "AI".

- My question is, do you know any examples of AI techniques of the past
- that were considered AI when they were being developed, but are now
- considered commonplace and having nothing to do with AI?
