  11. For those of you with the NB4/Lingua pre-release version, I learned of
  12. a fix for Orbis indexing problems today.  This beta version of Orbis
  13. *will* index your textbases properly, but only if you change to the NB
  14. program directory before you start it.  It doesn't matter where the
  15. files to be indexed are, what matters is that your current directory
  16. be C:\NB4 (or whatever directory you installed the programs in).

  18. Another small bug that will make your index files slightly larger than
  19. expected--the omit list was inadvertently left out of the distribution
  20. files for the pre-release version.  This version of Orbis will
  21. therefore index *every* word in the text base if you use all words as
  22. key words.

  24. Both bugs are already fixed, and the version to be shipped with
  25. NB4/Lingua production release will work properly in these regards.
