- For those of you with the NB4/Lingua pre-release version, I learned of
- a fix for Orbis indexing problems today. This beta version of Orbis
- *will* index your textbases properly, but only if you change to the NB
- program directory before you start it. It doesn't matter where the
- files to be indexed are, what matters is that your current directory
- be C:\NB4 (or whatever directory you installed the programs in).
-
- Another small bug that will make your index files slightly larger than
- expected--the omit list was inadvertently left out of the distribution
- files for the pre-release version. This version of Orbis will
- therefore index *every* word in the text base if you use all words as
- key words.
-
- Both bugs are already fixed, and the version to be shipped with
- NB4/Lingua production release will work properly in these regards.
