- With NB4/Lingua I get 245 K free before loading the speller, 235 K
- free with the speller loaded. This is under OS/2 in a DOS window.
- Under DOS 5.0 on a 386 I would expect to be able to get around 240 K
- free with a little tweaking unless there were something about my
- system that really gobbled memory. Earlier versions of DOS would
- provide smaller amounts of memory, as would machines with less
- capable processsors than the 386.
