  19. With NB4/Lingua I get 245 K free before loading the speller, 235 K
  20. free with the speller loaded.  This is under OS/2 in a DOS window.
  21. Under DOS 5.0 on a 386 I would expect to be able to get around 240 K
  22. free with a little tweaking unless there were something about my
  23. system that really gobbled memory.  Earlier versions of DOS would
  24. provide smaller amounts of memory, as would machines with less
  25. capable processsors than the 386.
