- Overstrike mode is a hassle, as Dorothy Day attests. In addition to setting a
- beep to warn one that a character has been overstruck, it is also possible to
- set overstrike so that separators -- spaces, punctuation, etc -- are never
- overwritten. That way one never loses more than a word.
