  19. I don't see my role as having anything to do with maintaining a level
  20. playingfield for publishers and readers.  I reluctantly restrict use
  21. of some information if that is a condition of sale, but publishers
  22. have to understand that policing users is against this profession's
  23. code of ethics.  I'm really limited in my ability to ask someone about
  24. what they are doing in the library and any undue attention on my part
  25. is a violation of their right to open access to the library.
