  14. We are running out of space on our SYSRES, which is a 3380-E (we have
  15. no bigger volumes). So, I would like to know if anyone out there is
  16. running with the equivalent of a multi-volume SYSRES.
  17.  
  18. We currently do system switches via a CLONE process, switching primarily
  19. between MVS00A and MVS00B. From what I have been able to gather, this is
  20. a pretty standard procedure for MVS shops. We would not want to loose
  21. this functionality with switching between say (MVS0A1,MVS0A2) and
  22. (MVS0B1,MVS0B2). In other words, we LIKE it.

  24. We are concerned with issues like dataset placement and good catalog
  25. maintenance.

  27. We are in the process of doing an IPO, so now seems like a very good
  28. time to make a move.

  30. We also have a re-cataloger that we can use if need be to keep multiple
  31. DLIBs right.

  33. I'm sure some of you nice folks have conquered this. Let's hear some
  34. brilliance!!! Horror stories are welcome as well.
