  13. There are two sides and probably more to this topic.  Yes, I often get
  14. duplicates.  On the other hand, I have dropped off of several lists with great
  15. regrets.  They were great lists but so little of their traffic related to my
  16. concerns that I just couldn't cope even with deleting them by subject line.  I
  17. am happy others are on those lists and doubly happy when someone picks up
  18. something of really general interest and importance and mirrors it on another
  19. list to which I belong.  It is wonderful to have anonymous persons out there
  20. work as gate keepers for me and my needs.  I really appreciate it.

  22.        I understand your concern with needless duplication, but I find it
  23. easier to delete the duplicate copy of half a dozen messages per week to that
  24. of deleting dozens of messages that do not interest me.  This duplication
  25. permits me to drop off of some important lists and still feel I can keep up due
  26. to these gate keeper but anonymous friends.   Thanks to all of them.
