- There are two sides and probably more to this topic. Yes, I often get
- duplicates. On the other hand, I have dropped off of several lists with great
- regrets. They were great lists but so little of their traffic related to my
- concerns that I just couldn't cope even with deleting them by subject line. I
- am happy others are on those lists and doubly happy when someone picks up
- something of really general interest and importance and mirrors it on another
- list to which I belong. It is wonderful to have anonymous persons out there
- work as gate keepers for me and my needs. I really appreciate it.
-
- I understand your concern with needless duplication, but I find it
- easier to delete the duplicate copy of half a dozen messages per week to that
- of deleting dozens of messages that do not interest me. This duplication
- permits me to drop off of some important lists and still feel I can keep up due
- to these gate keeper but anonymous friends. Thanks to all of them.
