  13. Recently a number of postings to EDTECH have been messages
  14. forwarded from other sources.  I personally find that this
  15. adds unnecessarily to the already almost overwhelming task
  16. of keeping up with e-mail from LISTSERV's, and also adds to
  17. the strain on computer and network resources.  In most cases,
  18. if the message is of any interest I've already received it
  19. directly from the original LISTSERV.
  20.  
  21. I'd like to suggest that, rather than forwarding messages
  22. of potential relevance to EDTECH, people might occasionally
  23. post compilations of 1-or-2-line summaries of such messages,
  24. with pointers to where the originals can be found.  This would
  25. allow the rest of us to ourselves subscribe to interesting groups
  26. of which we might not have been aware.
