- Recently a number of postings to EDTECH have been messages
- forwarded from other sources. I personally find that this
- adds unnecessarily to the already almost overwhelming task
- of keeping up with e-mail from LISTSERV's, and also adds to
- the strain on computer and network resources. In most cases,
- if the message is of any interest I've already received it
- directly from the original LISTSERV.
-
- I'd like to suggest that, rather than forwarding messages
- of potential relevance to EDTECH, people might occasionally
- post compilations of 1-or-2-line summaries of such messages,
- with pointers to where the originals can be found. This would
- allow the rest of us to ourselves subscribe to interesting groups
- of which we might not have been aware.
-
- I'd be interested to know what others think about this.
