- I know the feeling regarding authoring academic software. I am in the
- uncomfortable position of having produced a Windows (C++) program with many
- of the basic bells and whistles that does very detailed course, track, and
- grade distribution analysis by complex demographic variables--a big time
- investment.
-
- So far, although I did get funding for a pilot project using a crude APL
- version of this software in 1989, I've yet to get the money for the
- large-scale project which this software seems to be very capable of. Not
- much academic payoff in THAT (yet??)!!
