  13. In response to Mr. Wiggins' inquiry about departmental searches within a CWIS,
  14. I think we have what he suggested.  We use Digital's VideoText.  Each faculty
  15. and staff entry in our directory has included as a keyword the person's
  16. department.  This allows a keyword search for   HISTORY  for example, to
  17. create a dynamic menu of all directory entries with  HISTORY as a keyword.  We
  18. constructed the dynamic menu title for each page to include the persons full
  19. name and campus phone number, thus the dynamic menu on a name search (or
  20. partial name search) results in everyone in the particular department being
  21. presented along with their full name and local phone number.  We find this
  22. feature very useful and it was an easily accommodated byproduct.
