- I forgot to add, that there is a document in ACSIS (No. 3 in a seies of
- 3) which provides INSTRUCTIONS for IPs. Nothing about AGREEMENTS here.
-
- I have ad-hoc arrangements with User Group Chairs/Reps, USG staff.
- Experience with the two 'outsiders', ie Computing Supplies & Staffing
- Office, have been less than totally encouraging.
-
- Going back even further, our experience with Geography in providing a
- Weather Report was unprofessional to say the least, even leaving them
- with the minimum amount of work to do.
-
- Going back to ancient history, I recall another terrible experience
- when I was the RAPPORT Database 'person' and the Safety Unit were
- interested in setting up a widely-accessible database of health/safety
- matters. It just didn't mateialize despite having had the additional
- sevices of an MSc student for a year.
-
- Nevetheless, I'm not deterred by such expeiences - just have to press
- on.
