  32. On the the strength of the above post, I had the engine of
  33. my '70 240Z engine rebuilt by Noel.  The results were just amazing.
  34. He did an excellent job and the car is now a real screamer.
  35. I had him do a super-deluxe rebuild using a 2.8 litre block, which
  36. in this case meant bored, blueprinted, balanced, bigger valves, cams,
  37. etc., resulting in a 2.9 litre Z car.

  39. Anyway, the result was a tractable 200+ horsepower fire-breather.
  40. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results.
  41. So thanks for the tip, Grant (wherever you are...).  I can
  42. certainly second the recommendation.

  46. P.S. Noel also did my suspension, brakes and clutch for a very
  47.      reasonable amount.  He appears to prefer engine work best,
  48.      though in my conversations with him, I get the feeling that
  49.      building reliable, high output V8's is his favorite activity.
  50.      I too have no relationship with Noel, other than as a
  51.      satisfied customer.
