  12.     For the past year or two I have heard the words "homie" (homey,
  13. homeie?) and "homeboy" on television, in conversations of others, and I have
  14. read grafitti that contains that word.  What does it mean?  Is it deroggatory
  15. or should it be considered a complement?  
  16.     I don't watch much t.v., so I'm counting on some worldly netter to
