  17. Well, that depends on your point of view. Most people, I think, would agree
  18. that there is only one truly sentient species on the planet. The "humanity
  19. is a plague on our planet and we should all die because we're basically
  20. parasitic scum" faction might peeve that there are *no* truly sentient
  21. species on the planet. However, this argument has a basic flaw in that, if
  22. they are correct, then what they are saying is meaningless (by virtue of
  23. them not being sentient) and thus they can't be correct or, even if they
  24. are, they can't know it.

  26. However, if your name is John Winston, the planet is positively *hotching*
  27. with sentient species, most of them non-native and almost all of whom are
  28. his personal buddies.
