- And lo, potler@umbc4.umbc.edu (Laura Potler (GSFC)) spake unto the masses saying:
- >
- > it *almost* fits to the beverly hillbillies!
-
- Yeah, uncanny, that's exactly what I thought. If you look at the words
- though, there's absolutely *no* obvious reason why this link should have
- been made.
-
- Hypothesis 1: All songs *almost* fit to the Beverley Hillbillies.
-
- Hypothesis 2: My mind is going.
-
- LauraPeeve: "Laura Potler (GSFC)". Apart from the basic mystery of what the
- GSFC stands for (she's told me, but I forgot. Goddard/Goddamn something...)
- something very interesting happens when you try to reply to mail from
- Laura because, in arriving, it somehow becomes truncated to "Laura Potler
- (GSFC" i.e. the closing bracket *vanishes*. Attempting to reply to this
- causes the mailer to sulk, refuse to send your mail and ten minutes later
- send you a delivery message to tell you again.
-
- Mind you, that's nothing compared to what the mailer is capable of doing to
- Jenni's address...
