- And lo, sac@gnv.ifas.ufl.edu spake unto the masses saying:

-
- Yeah, I can go with that one. The only way that's ever *not* going to
- happen to me is if I shave my head or my hair all falls out. How long the
- hair is doesn't seem to matter. If it's anything over about 4cm long I end
- up looking like the lead singer of A Flock Of Seagulls (now there's an
- obscure reference for those readers of this newsgroup whose musical tastes
- aren't centred in the early 80s like wot mine are), albeit considerably
- less photogenic and a lot less blonde. If it's anything less, I end up
- looking like the lead singer of A Flock Of Seagulls after he's had a
- haircut.
-
- Given the hassle it causes, I think shaving my head might be the best
- option. *Every* morning without fail, I have to wash my hair, since my
- dog-brush just can't cope with the strange geometric shapes my hair gets
- slept into. Now I wouldn't really have to wash my hair any more often than
- every second day otherwise but...
-
- On top of that, the fact that my hair has to be washed daily causes other
- problems. Shampooing it daily means that unless I use an anti-dandruff
- shampoo, I have a problem with dandruff. The problem with that is that
- there's only one anti-dandruff shampoo known to man that actually works on
- me. Which is a) expensive and b) (according to a source in the industry)
- causes your hair to thin.
-
- So I guess the problem will solve itself one of these days, when the hair
- gets so weak that it won't have the rigidity to get pushed into strange and
- unusual shapes.
-
- AntiPeeve: it got cut yesterday and is now at its shortest. While I still
- have to wash it daily, at least it dries naturally in about five minutes
- flat.
-
- > Am I a peevetown member yet?
-
- No, I'll resist the opportunity to make any word play here, I will, I will.
