-
- Because there are some types of scale modelling that simply don't apply
- and would be uninteresting to readers of the current set of rec.model...
- groups.
-
- For example, where should a discussion of techniques for detailing a
- plastic model tank go? I'd rather it wasn't in rec.models.railroad,
- even though the same techniques used to add cast metal details to a
- railroad model might be used to add cast metal details to a plastic
- tank. I'm sure most of the readers of rec.models.rockets and
- rec.models.rc would agree.
-
- Many of us will read several groups in the rec.models hierarchy, bit I
- feel that the proposed group is a good idea.
-
- However, I do have a question. How would the proposed rec.models.scale
- differ (in a practical sense, not just the name) from a rec.models.misc?
- What kinds of articles would appropriate for a .misc group that would
- not be welcome in a .scale group?
