  12. I recently brought up version 2.7.2f of the IRC server but every 24-72
  13. hours it dies for no apparent reason.  There are no messages in the log
  14. file or any kind of error message anywhere on the system.  The server
  15. just seems to stop running.

  17. Does anyone have any suggestions for what might be the problem?  The
  18. only oddity with the server is that it is a "private" server. (not
  19. connected to any other servers)  It is running on a Sun SLC.  I have
  20. a second IRC server running on the same machine (different port) and
  21. it has never crashed.
