  39. does it say that IRC is to be taken with the seriousness of an exam? Why
  40. do they then call it the Internet Relay Chat? Or did you not know this?

  52. these rules and a simple posting of them would be useful? If you want to whine
  53. and gripe about the behaviour of an IRCpeonOP or an IRCADMIN,  there are
  54. higher forms of stopping them..Or do you not know of any?

  60. True, but this is not the MAIN purpose of IRC. If I am not mistaken, the 
  61. main purpose of IRC was to enhance on the general idea of the TALK command
  62. (I infer this from various sources and readings) SO that numerous people
  63. could "Chat." I refer you to my earlier definition of CHAT

  69. EGO reasons? My friend (not), it appears you have quite a bit to learn 
  70. yourself. Have you ever heard of trying to improve the current standard? Of
  71. course, adding another server to the net will lag it down..No argument about 
  72. that..But there is also a wish for many people for their own school to have
  73. a server..to  help out other IRCusers..With the convenience of having 
  74. their own server (Though it may not be a convenience in most cases). I know
  75. that these wishes, in the long run, are damaging to the net..But sometimes
  76. people like to improve their current standing to try and benefit the people 
  77. immediately around them. I  do not see this as an egotistical reason. I
  78. do not see how ANYONE can see this as an egotistical reason..And the fact 
  79. that YOU see it as an egostistcal reason suggests something of your current
  80. mindset...In most cases, servers that were given links or IRCpeonOPS that
  81. were given O-lines with EGO problems have been taken away..Or are in the 
  82. process of. Egotistical people are not liked on the net...Maybe you are not
  83. aware of this, but actions are taken to make sure they are properly handled.

  94. has made such a prejudiced remark...Maybe you fell off the wrong side of the
  95. bed and hit your head on a sharp object...Insanity is the inability to reason..
  96. Your past remarks have been more than adequately unreasonable..People are 
  97. labeled as having psychic problems if they think about killing their parents,
  98. incest, thinking that aliens will invade Earth, that they can take over
  99. a WHOLE continent, or thinking that whole societies or sections of a certain
  100. society have one diagnosis..I don't know any people w/ these problems, but
  101. I can think of one person right now...
