  12. This pulled from alt.hypertext; it's another system that knows how to
  13. talk to gophers, and the first I've heard of it anywhere.  --Ed

  36. The University of Kansas has developed a distributed unix (and others)
  37. hypertext package, for use in its Campus Wide Information System (CWIS).
  38. This package is simalar to WWW in fuction, and related to Hyperrez in
  39. document design.  At this time there isn't an X windows version, but we're
  40. working on it.  There will also be a MS-DOS, MAC, and VMS version available
  41. in the future.  The hypertext reader, called Lynx, is also a nearly complete
  42. gopher client as well.  This software is currently in Beta test, but it
  43. can be obtained at the asking.  If you would like to try out a sample
  44. distributed hyper-base, telnet to acs5000.cc.ukans.edu and login as "info".
  45. The controls are alot like Hyperrez. (Please don't sue:)
