  13. This CD-ROM has to be one of the worst I've seen... the way to get files
  14. from it onto your Mac is to use Apple File Exchange (which comes with all
  15. Macs) set to MacBinary and Mac-to-Mac. This works, doesn't involve getting
  16. any additonal converters and is - fairly - straightforward.

  18. Why the purple blazes the rip-off merchants who put this thing together
  19. didn't include an uncompressed decoding application or two on the hundreds
  20. of spare megabytes of space.. or, hey, uncompress the files /themselves/,
  21. thus avoiding people duplicating the decompression process, or, like several
  22. of the posters here, getting totally stuck.

  24. Would it be too much to ask why the vendors didn't include instructions?

  26. This you-can-do-without-it CD-ROM encourages me to suggest a FAQ
  27. of reviews here - we all experience a wide range of CDs, and if I'd
  28. known of this one in time I'd not have bought it. Given most users here are
  29. PC people rather than Mac people, surely there's still sufficient overlap
  30. for a regular report of current CDs to be of value?
