║ EDIT Help ║
╚════════════════════════════════╝
Choosing EDIT from the primary menu puts you into the Measure Level Editor.
The MLE shows you an overview of all 8 tracks in the song. Assuming you have
either LOADed or RECORDed some MIDI data you will see note symbols in any
measure that has MIDI note data. You can move forward and backward through
the song with the Fast Forward, Forward, Rewind... functions.
Large scale edit functions work on blocks of data at the MLE level. First
mark the START and END of the block. You can PASTE a block onto any other
track, merging the two sets of data. You can REPEAT a block any number of
times - handy from drum tracks and other repetitive sequences.
If you select a measure mark and hit return, you will be put in the Note
Editor. Only one track is shown at a time. Each note is shown as a line,
similar to a player piano scroll. You can shrink and expand the scale of
the edit window to show more detail, or a larger range. You can add and
subtract notes from the track at will. Good for fixing mistakes, etc.
Hit any key to exit this screen.
