I'm sorry about the anonymous post, but this is the only remailer I could
remember off of the top of my head. I no longer have news access, but I
would REALLY appreciate it if someone who could help me out would respond
to this message in email.
I recently picked up a used Pro-34. It was in fine working condition. I took
it home, opened it up, and pulled out D11 to restore the cell phone frequencies. In the file that I obtained on the Pro-34, it indicated that adding D-9 wo
enable the 66-88 Mhz band. So, I put in the diode that I had just pulled out
of D11's spot. I closed the case back up, and turned the unit on.
The 66-88 Mhz band works fine, as does the cellular frequencies. (So you're
wondering "what is he complaining about then?") Well, I've lost the 30-54 Mhz
band. Does anyone know of a mistake that I could've made that would cause the loss of this band? Whenever I type in a frequency below 66Mhz, the scanner
displays "Error". I looked at the area that I was working on for the mod...
Everything looked fine, no solder bridges or anything. So, if anyone can help,
please respond to this message via e-mail. Thank you very much!!!

I just spent some time fixing up my website so that it will be more useful and enjoyable to people with text-only browsers, or who may be using slow links
The pages are also Netscape and MS Internet Explorer enhanced, so if you have a "bleeding edge" browser there is something special there for you, too.
