  1.                 NAMENET.PRG and NN_LIGHT.PRG

  4. The NameNet Address and Telephone Manager needs a machine with 
  5. at least 1 Megabyte of memory and comes as two versions:
  6.  
  7.         NAMENET.PRG
  8.         is the full version which, when run with the 
  9.         registration key file inplace, will provide full 
  10.         facilities. This is a "tight fit" on a 1 megabyte 
  11.         machine leaving little room for accessories etc. It will 
  12.         have room for about 500 entries (more or less depending 
  13.         on the size of the entries. However some memory 
  14.         intensive activities may fail. This version is therefore 
  15.         recommended for machines with more than 1 megabyte of 
  16.         memory.

  18.         NN_LIGHT.ZIP or NN_LIGHT.TOS contain NN_LIGHT.PRG 
  19.         which is a modified version for use with
  20.         1 megabyte machines. It uses the RSC, HDX and HLP files 
  21.         as NAMENET.PRG.

  23.         It has two additional routines:

  25.               <.> File delete utility
  26.               <.> Disk Free utility
  27.  
  28.         These utilities are not in the full version as most 
  29.         people will be using an accessory or extended file 
  30.         selector for these functions. They included in the Light 
  31.         version the user is unlikely to be using accessories.

  33.         A simpler form of memory management is used and NameNet 
  34.         will take all but about 30kbytes of your computer's 
  35.         memory. Additionally memory intensive and low priority 
  36.         routines have been removed.
  37.  
  38.         .TCV, .HST, .TIC, .TLG files are not supported
  39.         Sorting of entries is not supported.
  40.  
  41.         Using the Light version will make up to 100K more memory 
  42.         available.
