This will do the job. Find two user port connectors (same type, I
believe female) and string them up together. This makes a Gender
Bender so that both computers can communicate via null modem. (Make
sure the wire colours match up on both sides.)
Then, boot up your favourite term program on either. CCGMS works
well for the 64; as for the Vic-20, ask about what terminal
programs are available, or get the specs on Xmodem and write your
own. :-P
