  8. The Transactor magazine started as a
  9. 2-page newsletter dated April 30,
  10. 1978 and was published throughout
  11. the 1980's. One of the noted C64
  12. hardware-hacking magazines, it was
  13. originally published by Commodore
  14. Canada. It was purchased from BMB
  15. Compuscience, the parent company, by
  16. the entire editorial team in April
  17. 1987 and sold to Antony Jacobsen &
  18. Ben Lewis, Croftward Limited (the
  19. publisher of Commodore Computing
  20. International among others) in
  21. November 1988.  Croftward continued
  22. publishing both Transactor magazines
  23. until late 1989. The last issue of
  24. Transactor, January 1990, was fully
  25. prepared but never made it off the
  26. press.

  30. collection of Commodore reference
  31. material, now the Transactor
  32. magazines have been added to the
