- Legend Of Kyrandia 3: MalcolmÆs Revenge - Complete Solution

- Castle Dump
- After listening to GuntherÆs ranting, click on and around the open cabinet and the
- ladder to find a bent nail and BrandonÆs shoe. Next go left to the Castle Gate and
- then head down, where you will come to Bluff. Once here, enter the transporter,
- where you will be taken to the Town Square. Now use the nail on the large
- padlock on the red rimmed door, and enter the Toy Factory.

- Toy Factory
- Once inside, click on the large red book which contains the blueprints of three
- different toys, the first of which is a toy soldier. Examine the machine and click
- on the lever nearest the book and then click on the book again - this will then
- show you a diagram of a ball. Take BrandonÆs shoe and place it in the funnel on
- top of the machine, then click on the green switch. The machine will now fire up
- and create a leather ball for you. Now walk towards the room at the end of the toy
- shop, where you will find MalcolmÆs apartment.

- MalcolmÆs Apartment
- Examine the cabinet and click on the third drawer down to find a nut-on-a-string,
- then click on the bottom corner of the bed to find the Jester stick. You can also
- look through the family album to view some interesting family history! Leave the
- room and walk back to the machine then click on the hole beside it - you will find
- yourself transported to the cellar. Pick up a flask and fill it with water from the
- trickling pipe. Now head upstairs to the Town Hall and then leave by the right of
- the screen. You will emerge in the Town Square.
- (Incidentally, if you stand on the rug found in the cellar, click on the green apple
- and then the red one, you will discover that the rug is magic and will find yourself
- transported to DarmÆs room!)

- Town Square
- Walk off to the right of the Town Square towards the City Limits, and ignore the
- small bloke who just wibbles about any old rubbish. Now head up the steps to the
- Dairy shaped like a Mushroom and take five sesame seeds from the sack, then
- leave and head to the Town Arena. Use the flask of water with the sesame seeds
- to make them sprout - refill the flask from the frogÆs mouth and repeat this
- process until all the seeds have sprouted. Return to the Dairy, making sure the
- flask is empty
- (if not, use it with Malcolm).

- Dairy
- Put the sprouts in the hopper. This attracts cows and results in the creation of
- milk. Use the nail on the milk container and then fill the flask with the milk.
- Leave the Dairy and head back to the Town Arena and then exit to the left of the
- screen. Walk past the mime artist and return to Bluff and then on to the Castle
- Dump. Look for a nail and if it is bent, use it with the nut-on-a-string to make an
- impromptu fishing rod. (If the nail is straight, use it on the Castle Gates to bend
- it.)
- Now return to Bluff and head left towards the Crossroads then down to the docks.
- Walk on to the middle pier and use the fishing rod with the water and you will get
- yourself an eel. Return to Bluff and exit off the bottom of the screen. You will
- emerge by the mime artist. (Use the Jester stick on the dog to get more points.)

- To Get The Mime Disguise
- Wait until the mime artist turns his back on you, select the eel and click on the
- artistÆs hood. Now wait for him to go into the Baths and select the Lying mode.
- Then use the fishing rod, clicking around the money box, to open the gate. Enter
- the Baths and talk to the owner, then click twice on the heating thermostat in the
- right-hand corner of the screen to increase the temperature. This enables you to
- remove the mime outfit from the window. Now exit.
- Leave this next screen via the right-hand side and then go back to the Baths,
- where you must repeat the thermostat procedure to obtain two leather jerkins.
- With two jerkins in hand return to the Toy Factory and use the outfits on the
- machine to make another two leather balls. Exit and use the transporter outside
- the Factory, where you will emerge at Bluff. Head left towards the Crossroads and
- then left again. Now wait at the Pegasus landing strip for the Pegasus to land.
- When it does so, it will transform into Zanthia. Talk to her in Nice mode to gain
- information on how to get to the boat.
- Head to the town centre using the transporter and enter the left door on the lower
- level where you meet Zanthia, then turn to Bluff and youÆll get arrested - Herman
- will take you to Brandon and Kallack, and when you are told to place your stuff in
- the box, select the straight nail and then wait.

- In Jail
- Follow RowenaÆs instructions on how to make a doily and when she leaves use
- the nail to unlock the side of the doily machine. Click on the string to move it to
- the manÆs hands and place the scissors by the manÆs bum! Now press the foot
- pedal to start the machine. The string will fly out of the window. Pick up the
- scissors and climb out of the window to emerge at the Bluff. Go to the Crossroads
- and use the scissors to cut the flowers and exit off the top of the screen towards
- the Graveyard. Cut another flower once in the Graveyard and, while in Nice
- mode, place the flowers on KatherineÆs grave and listen to the banter from the
- ghost. Next go to the Dump and collect your inventory items, leaving only the
- cream, and make your way to the Docks. Select Lying mode and talk to the dog
- then use a leather ball with Malcolm to perform a juggling act! The boat will now
- take you to Cat Island.

- Cat Island
- (Note: Regularly click on Malcolm to rid him of fleas or heÆll die!)
- Talk to the cat with the cart and then, in Nice mode, talk to the dog and hitch a
- ride to Pirate Camp then hitch another ride to the Dog Fort.

- Dog Fort
- Pick up the machete and then head right towards the jungle and clear the bottom-
- right of the screen with the machete to uncover a hole. Use the machete to head
- right to get back to the Dog Fort. Click on the hole in the large rock situated next
- to the dog. In here you will discover the Ancient Ruins, but ignore these for now.
- Walk back into the jungle and again, using the machete, clear the plants to find
- some bones. When you have six bones go back to the Dog Fort. Now save the
- game!
- Put the first bone next to the standing dog, where he will uncover a gem stone for
- you. Repeat this to obtain another gem. Half an inch below this position put
- another bone on the ground to find a gem and then place the fourth bone half an
- inch below the last one to find yet another gem. You will find another two gems
- on the left of the screen below the front wheel of the cart, parallel to the bottom
- two gems previously found. When you have six gems talk to the dog by the cart
- until you hitch a ride to the Altar Of Cats.

- Altar Of Cats
- Place the gems on the altar to find out the following information:
- Sapphire is Thunder, Amethyst is Rain, Diamond is Night, Emerald is Wind,
- Topaz is Sun, and Ruby is Fire.
- Now head right towards the forest and select Lying mode then talk to Fluffy - you
- will obtain a magic mouse. Use the machete to clear the trees, head right towards
- the altar and then go left, where you will find the monument balls - use the magic
- mouse on the balls to turn them into cats. Now return to the Fort using the cart
- then head right into the jungle. Using the machete again, clear a hole as you did
- before then head right to the Dog Fort and enter the Ancient Ruins via the hole in
- the rock.

- Ancient Ruins
- Walk into the Hieroglyphics room on the right and then use the magic mouse on
- each of the statues to work out which gem goes with which statue: 1 is Diamond,
- 2 is Topaz, 3 is Amethyst, 4 is Emerald, 5 is Sapphire, and 6 is Ruby.
- Return to the Altar Of Cats via the cart and use the gems with the statues as
- mentioned above - you will obtain a crystal mouse. Next, head right and talk to
- Fluffy again then head up, right, right, right, up, and up to find the pirates.

- Pirate Camp
- Use the crystal mouse with the one-legged pirate and you will be able to use their
- boat.

- Ends Of The Earth
- Take the money and insert in the first machine to get insurance, press the third
- button from the left to get an umbrella, and then press the furthest button on the
- right to get a swimming pool
- toy - use the toy with Malcolm and then jump off the ledge into the waterfall.
- On the lower ledge use the pump on the flower to inflate it, then jump on the
- flower to get to the other ledge, enter the cave and jump off the ledge again. *
- Use the pump to remove the pool toy then select the umbrella, now use it with the
- hook to swing across the gorge. Use the umbrella on Malcolm so that it opens
- and, while standing next to the umbrella sign, click on the rock face below his feet
- to float down to the next level. Enter the next cave and jump off the next ledge,
- then enter the final cave, where you will be taken to Fish World.

- Fish World
- Select Lying mode and talk to everyone when you wake up. Exit to the right and
- then off to the right again. Unfortunately your neck brace will pull you back to the
- QueenÆs court. You must now play Tic-Tac-Toe and lose in order to escape for a
- short time, then select Lying mode and talk to the Queen and eventually she will
- let you go. Now head right until you find the dump, and talk to Buddy the Blind
- Bat Fish saying you are the tax collector. You will then gain two gold coins.
- Select Nice mode and talk to him again, but he will refuse to give you any more
- so select Lying mode and you will receive another two coins. Repeat until you
- have ten coins.
- Head left and exit via the top path. You will be recalled to the QueenÆs court
- again to play Tic-Tac-Toe. Lose, as before. Exit the court to the right and take the
- top path, then go left but you will be recalled to the court once more. Play Tic-
- Tac-Toe, lose, and head back to your last position. Then climb on to the slide by
- clicking on the top-left of the screen. When atop the slide, click on the switch and
- you will find yourself back at the dump.
- Search the dump picking up everything until you find a fondue set and, when
- asked to leave, put the fondue set next to Buddy. As a result, he will leave his
- hole. Click on the hole to obtain a newspaper. If this doesnÆt work, repeat this
- section, starting from the slide. Now find the Devil Fish and give him five coins
- for a ride in the cannon.

- Underworld
- Talk to the receptionist to gain information on the Royal seance requirements, at
- which point you will be pulled back to the QueenÆs court. Yawn!

- Fish World
- When seven players are on the board, place the newspaper on the floor along with
- a coin. The deceased King will appear and frighten away the Queen. Now go back
- to the cannon, select Normal mode and demand a refund on your last trip. This
- allows you to get your next ride for one coin only.

- Underworld
- Select Lying mode and talk to the man in the red line, then select Nice mode and
- talk to him again. He will now let you go first and the girl will then let you enter
- the Underworld.

- Underworld Lobby
- Talk to the girl to remove your collar. When she leaves talk to the tennis players,
- the surfer dude, and then the receptionist. She will give you a series of
- instructions to follow, and send you back to Kyrandia.
-
- At Kyrandian Crossroads
- You will now have to choose between good and bad - choose good! Lift the fire
- wood and walk towards the Baths, only to be blocked by a pirate and taken back
- to the Royal palace. Unfortunately you will have to pay the pirateÆs ransom, which
- means that you must leave the Castle and head to the Dump, where you can
- collect the nail and the cream. Walk to the MagicianÆs Lodge and use the nail to
- enter. Once inside, free the mice, collect the eel, the water, the seeds, and then
- leave.
- Now head to the Toy Factory and use the machine to make rocking horses, putting
- the wood in the machine. Pick up the horse and head to the Town Hall by going
- through the cellar in the Toy Shop. Talk to Zanthia and then give her the rocking
- horse with which to make a magic Pegasus potion, then use an empty flask with
- the potion. Head off to the Pegasus Landing Strip and drink the magic potion.

- Isle Of Cats
- Take the machete and again enter the jungle, then talk to Fluffy the cat and he will
- tell you that you need to find ten bones to help them in their revolution. The
- simplest way to do this is to clear the trees to the right of Fluffy using the machete
- and find one bone, then walk to the Altar Of Cats. Return to Fluffy and
- miraculously the bone will be in the same place. Repeat this process until you
- have all the bones, then give them
- to Fluffy in return for a cheese maker.
- Head to the Altar again and use the cheese maker with Malcolm, then find the
- Colossus statue. Use your newly created cheese in the mouth of the mouse statue.
- Collect the gems and take them to Fluffy, who will now give you a can of tuna.
- Use the can with Malcolm.

- Kyrandian Crossroads
- Walk to the Pegasus Landing Strip and collect your items then go to the Dump
- and get the Fish World neck brace. Enter the Castle and give a jewel to the pirate
- who is holding the crutch, at which point the Captain will slide down the banister
- so give him the neck brace. Now head back to the Dump and get the nut-on-a-
- string and a nail, then go back to the Castle.
- Give the cheese to Brandon then go to the Fish Cream Parlour and give the cheese
- to the owner. Now ask him to fix the machine. You will now need three
- ingredients, which you should have already obtained; if not, find them as you did
- before - cream/milk, sesame seeds (also found at the Pawn shop in the Baths by
- selling anything you have, except the cream of course!) and an eel. Go back to the
- Fish Cream Parlour and use the ingredients in the machine.
- Now exit and go back to MalcolmÆs apartment and look under the bed to find the
- KingÆs portrait. Then go to the Town Hall and use the portrait with the statue and
- then use the picture in MarcoÆs magic cabinet, which is facing the statue. Next,
- return to the Fish Cream Parlour and talk to the owner, then return to the statue at
- the Town Hall and talk to it! Give the sandwich to the statue - you will then be
- taken back to the Parlour. Now use the battered portrait in the cabinet once more
- to finish the game.
