  8. ADI update driver for Windows 95
  9. This document contains release information for the ADI monitor users to update
  10. driver onto Windows 95. The ADI Updating File is free to any ADI monitor user
  11. and may be freely distributed. Updates to the tools will be available through
  12. the standard ADI distribution mechanisms(technical support databases, development
  13. partner, etc.). Updates are also available on the ADI World Wide Web site 
  14. (WWW.ADI.com.tw).

  17. The following contains installation procedure for updating ADI monitor series

  37. To the old monitor users
  38. For belowwith monitor users can continue to use old driver on Windows 95 and
  39. therefore there is no need to use this new driver.

  51. Installation Procedure:
  52.  
  53. 1. Starting windows 95
  54.  
  55. 2. Open <Control Panel> under <My Computer>, click on the <Display> icon. 
  56.    You will see a window titled "DISPLAY PROPERTIES", click SETTINGS. The
  57.    settings allow changes of the monitor setup, including model names, 
  58.    resolutions and colors.
  59.  
  60. 3. Afterward, a window titled "CHANGE DISPLAY TYPE" will be appeared under 
  61.    the monitor type.
  62.  
  63. 4. Click "Change" and select source drive to be installed from "SELECT DRIVE".
  64.    For example, If you are using a 3.5" diskette drive for installation, chose
  65.    "A" drive accordingly. The default monitor will appeared under Models.
  66.  
  67. 5. Click on 'Have Disk'.  A window "INSTALL FROM DISK" will appear and request to 
  68.    insert disk with our driver "ADI95V01.INF". Install the driver accordingly.

  70. 6. After coping the driver to the hard disk, click ok return to "SELECT DRIVE".

  72. 7. Click Show all devices, then all the manufacturers and models will be appeared.

  74. 8. Select ADI and ADI models accordingly.  Click ok to leave windows. Please
  75.    note that the selected model will now appear under Monitor Type in the
  76.    sub-windows "CHANGE DISPLAY TYPE".

  78. 9. Now you can chose your updated ADI monitor model from the list then restarted
  79.    it for effecting the driver.
