  5. You can now create self-extracting archives with the Zip Manager
  6.  
  7. Fixed the shell32 problem for NT user's, NT users can now revert back to the original
  8. shell32.dll in ther system directory.

  10. 4th Jan, 98 - Ver 2.1

  12. Changed the "Run programs from here" function to a combo box, FmEdit95 now keep's a history
  13. of files that have been run.

  15. Added a files association manager, there is no help for this at the moment, but there are
  16. plenty of hint's within FmEdit95.

  18. You can now send e:mail from within FmEdit95, stores up to 20 e:mail id's. (Tools Menu)

  26. FmEdit95 interrogtates all drive's at startup, this only add's a few second's to the
  27. loading time, but save's a good bit of time with other functions.

  31. Added an option to run associated files for (.xls.xlb.wks.wk1.wk2.wk3.wk4.doc.rtf.sam)

  44. Completely revamped the interface.

  46. Current selected filename is now shown on the caption bar, each display screen show's the
  47. filename that is currently loaded.

  49. Each screen has an option to close the current file loaded, again EXCEPT the images as I still
  50. do not know how to do it or I am going about it the wrong way. HELP ANYBODY?

  52. You can now load a program into the editor on start up, eg. fmedit95 c:\thisdir\myfile.txt

  81. Took out some options, the most notable are viewing a text file from within a zip file, this
  82. caused a problem when extracting files from within a zip. (will try and reinstate) and the
  83. show only directories. (use file mask for faster browsing)

  87. 22nd Nov, 97 - Ver 1.0d
  88. Fixed a minor bug in Zip Manager, when you double clicked on a file name to view the contents
  89. of a file, if the file was read only, FmEdit95 could not delete the file after it was viewed.
  90. The files attributes are now checked before viewing.
  91.  
  92. Added a 'Show Only Directories' option for faster navigation. Use this if you know what
  93. sub-directory you are going to, it really speeds up the process as no file information is
  94. being gathered as you browse. This can only be set at run time, no settings will be saved for
  95. this option.

  97. Added a splitter bar to make the main windows resizable, double clicking on a window no longer
  98. makes the screen full size.

  101. Fixed a minor bug, when copying multiple files, if you tried to copy to an existing directory
  102. you received the message "Cannot Create Directory" This was because it was trying to recreate
  103. an existing directory. You can now copy multiple files to an existing directory.

  105. Enabled the file properties function to allow the user to change file attributes.

  107. 16th Nov, 97 - Ver 1.0c
  108. Cleaned the code up some, but still a lot of cleaning up to be done.

  110. Viewer's now display their own filenames, you can now close open files with the exception of
  111. the image viewer. (still working on how to do this without causing errors)

  113. Added an options screen to save user's settings. (still working on this)

  115. Added Database Viewer for dbf and db files.

  117. 14th Nov, 97 - Ver 1.0b
  118. Changed the viewing layout, instead of one window controlling all display's, I added tabbed
  119. notebook's for greater flexibility.

  121. Added MultiMedia option to play, avi, midi and wave files.

  123. 8th Nov, 97 - Ver 1.0a
  124. Added a function to view the contents of a file within a zip by double clicking on a filename.
  125. (At the moment this is for text based files only, other files will display only a few letters)

  127. Added an option to set a file mask, this only occur's in the current directory, when you
  128. change directory or drive, the mask is set back to *.*

  133. You can now view HTML with the file extension .html
