  6. WHAT'S EasyCal?
  7. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  8. EasyCal is mainly designed for any CAD Drawing; Accounting;
  9. Spreadsheet and any other application that the users need
  10. some calculations done. It has some features that will fit
  11. in daily use.

  14. FEATURES.....
  15. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  16. EasyCal is an easy and convenient way to use a calculator
  17. in Windows Version 3.1 and higher environment. It comes
  18. with a metric converter that lets you perform metric
  19. calculations and conversions easier. With it's "Always On Top"
  20. feature, you can access EasyCal easier in any application
  21. you are currently using, and you have no need to press the
  22. ALT-ESC or ALT-Tab switch again and again.

  24. EasyCal can also let you display the date and/or the time
  25. in various format when EasyCal is in the minimized mode.
  26.  
  27. You can get context-sensitive help by pressing <F1> key on
  28. any windows screen.
  29.  
  30. EasyCal has an option that lets you link EasyCal to the
  31. application you are currently using and send the date, time,
  32. and/or the calculation result to the linked application
  33. automatically. If your application accepts keyboard input,
  34. it will work fine with EasyCal.

  57. user of EasyCal. Do you want to have a Screen Saver that have
  58. your favourite photo inside it?  Just fill in and send us the
  59. registration form with the fee to become a registered user.
  60. Remember to send your favourite photos to us, photo size not
  61. more than 4"x6", please. You are entitled to 1 free photo to
  62. be scanned as your bitmap. If you want to have more photos to
  63. be scanned, you will be charged $3.00 for each additional
  64. photo you include.  If you send a photo more than this size or
  65. if you just forget to send us the photo, it will just cause us
  66. to ignore your photo and just send you the Screen Saver with our
  67. logos on it.

  70. INSTALLATION
  71. ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  72. Before you setup EasyCal, make sure you have VBRUN300.DLL
  73. in your window system directory, you can download this file
  74. in all major BBS or On-line service.
  75.  
  76. In Program Manager, Select File and choose Run, and type
  77. a:\setup.exe in command line where a: is the drive of the
  78. source disk and follow the on screen instructions.
  79.  
  80. Window 95 users, click Start on Task Bar and Select the Run
  81. command. Type a:\setup.exe in command line where a: is the
  82. drive of the source disk and follow the on screen instructions.

  84. IF EASYCAL RUNS ABNORMALLY AFTER YOU INSTALL OTHER PROGRAMS...
  85. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  86. If EasyCal runs abnormally after you install other programs,
  87. the problem might be the program write some system files to
  88. your Windows' system directory which overwrites the EasyCal's
  89. run-time files and are not compatible with EasyCal. To solve
  90. this problem just copy the following file to your Windows'
  91. system directory.

  94.  
  95. You can find these files inside the Easycal install
  96. directory. If the problem still exists, you will need
  97. to re-install EasyCal.

  99. REGISTRATION AND LICENSE AGREEMENT

  102. Register ID#11627.

  104. The use of EasyCal is subject to the following terms
  105. and conditions:
  106.  
  107. EasyCal is a copyrighted software product, protected
  108. by the copyright laws of the Canada and international
  109. treaties. You may not make any changes or modifications,
  110. decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer
  111. the software in any way.
  112.  
  113. You can use EasyCal in a 21 day trial period provided
  114. that the user does not violate the protection afforded
  115. the licensed software by the copyright laws, and the
  116. user agrees to the terms of the license agreement. If
  117. the user continues to use EasyCal past a 21 day evaluation
  118. period, the user is obligated to purchase a license.

  120. EasyCal can be used on a Local Area Network provided that
  121. a license is obtained for the number of users that may
  122. concurrently use the software.

  124. A license for the user of EasyCal can be obtained by

  134. The register form can be printed on-line with EasyCal,
  135. or you can use your favourite text editor to print the
  136. register form in the file named Regform.txt.

  138. Title to the licensed software is licensed to user, not sold.
