  26. What's Scavenger-region-set
  27. ===========================
  28. Scavenger-region-set is a program which allows you to change the region
  29. of your RPCII drive. You can set the region to one of these regions: 
  30. 1,2,3,4,5,6. It allows you also to set the region of your drive to 1+2+3+4+5+6.
  31. That means, the drive should be able to play each region

  34. How can I see if it works or not?
  35. =================================
  36. The region change works 100% when you can see that your change is accepted.
  37. After each change, the program reloads automaticly. Make shure that the a. user
  38. changes are not 0 !!!

  52. How to use this software
  53. ========================
  54. 1) Insert a DVD into the drive
  55. 2) Start Scavenger-region-set
  56. 3) If only one possible dive is detected, S-r-s will select the one drive, else
  57.    you've to select the current drive manually.
  58. 4) Take a look at "User changes available". Minimum requirement is 1 change
  59.    (!!!Attention: Every change the regioncounter decreases!!!)
  60. 5) Select the region
  61.    (If the region is set successfully, the new region-optionbox will be selected
  62.     automaticly, else the new region is not selectable.

  65. (If you select region 0, only use regioncode free Software-dvd-players)
  66. (Attention: Not all software-dvd-players would work will region 0)

  69. How the program works
  70. =====================
  71. The program uses the wnaspi32.dll file which should be found in your system-directory.
  72. At startup or when you press the refresh button, s-r-s gets the current 
  73. region of your drive. It also gets the available user changes of your drive.
  74. S-r-s uses just ASPI calls to set the new driveregion. If the regionchange wouldn't
  75. work, the regioncounter wouldn't decrease, else the regioncouter decreases.
