  79. 1) Make sure you have Halflife version 1.1.0.4 or higher,
  80. i.e. one of those versions that include "Team Fortress 1.5"
  81. (instead of "Team Fortress Classic"). To update your version
  82. of Half-Life go to http://planethalflife.com/files/
  83. or use Sierra's AutoUpdate feature.

  85. NOTE: They Hunger will NOT work with 'Opposing Forces' or 
  86. 'Game of the Year' versions of Half-Life
  87.  
  88. 2) Install They Hunger into the Halflife directory. Now the
  89. file layout should look as follows:

  127. 3) Now start HalfLife normally.
  128.  
  129. 4) From the main menu, click on "Custom game". You will see
  130. now a list of all the mods available on your computer. Select 
  131. "They Hunger" and click on "Activate". (If you don't see an
  132. option "Custom game" then you have to update your version
  133. of Halflife!)
  134.  
  135. 5) Select "Done" to return to the main HalfLife menu. The
  136. "They Hunger" logo should appear on the screen.
  137.  
  138. 6) Now start a new game and select your skill level. You are
  139. now playing They Hunger episode 1!
  140.  
  141. 7) If you wish to only play They Hunger episode 3, then you
  142. must first start a new game and select your skill level.
  143. After this, press ESC and click on option "They Hunger 3".

  145. NOTE: Please consult Sierra technical help and your Halflife
  146. documentation for additional help on how to run custom games 
  147. in version 1.1.0.4 (or higher).
