  3.     This FIRMWARE is ONLY vaild for THE CDR400
  4.  
  5.     1)  This folder contains 3 files as stated below
  6.  
  7.     1.40070430.bin          Firmware Up-date Version 1.0d
  8.  
  9.     2.dld_dos.exe          Install execute file
  10.                   (for DOS version)
  11.  
  12.     3.readme.txt          Explanation of install
  13.  
  14.     2)How to install the New Firmware.
  15.       CDR400 connet to Host PC via SCSI I/F.
  16.       CDR400 power on (no caddy or no disc in the drive)
  17.       Host PC power on & runs Microsoft DOS with ASPI driver
  18.  
  19.     3)These two files are put on the same Folder.

  35.     New firmware installation complete.
  36.  
  37.     CDR400 received 400xxxxx.bin binary data from
  38.     a PC via SCSI line and stored into internal buffer
  39.     in the drive.
  40.     Display out the messages if complete 
  41.     "New firmware installation complete"
  42.     or if error was happed "SCSI I/O error occurred."
  43.     If you have trouble.....Please check connection
  44.     or selected SCSI ID conflict or AC power supplyment
  45.     and etc....
  46.     CDR400 starts binary data copy from internal buffer to
  47.     Flushmemory after all data received from a PC.
  48.     DISC LED and READ LED on the front vessel
  49.     starts blinking during operation period.
  50.     When finished the Install operation, DISC LED lights
  51.     orange color and READ LED turned off.
  52.     You can check the Firmwre version number by
  53.     INQUIRY command or reboot PC.
  54.     If INSTALL complete correctly, MSCDEX can mount
  55.     CDR400 using ordinary CD-ROM device driver.
  56.     The CDR400 device type is "5".
  57.     So ordinary CD-ROM device driver can handle CDR400.
