    This FIRMWARE is ONLY vaild for THE CDR400

    1)  This folder contains 3 files as stated below

	1.40070430.bin	      Firmware Up-date Version 1.0d

	2.dld_dos.exe	      Install execute file
			      (for DOS version)

	3.readme.txt	      Explanation of install

    2)How to install the New Firmware.
	  CDR400 connet to Host PC via SCSI I/F.
	  CDR400 power on (no caddy or no disc in the drive)
	  Host PC power on & runs Microsoft DOS with ASPI driver

    3)These two files are put on the same Folder.

	1.40070430.bin

	2.dld_dos.exe

    COMMAND
     dld_dos  40070430.bin 3 0 11000
     usage......dld_dos [Fn][ID][Anum][address]
		Please do not forget "_" between dld and dos
		[File name]	400xxxxx.bin  new Firmware file
		[CDR400 SCSI ID] 3  if you have only target
		[SCSI Card number]
		                0  if you have only SCSI board
		[Install address]   11000	Fixed

	New firmware installation complete.

	CDR400 received 400xxxxx.bin binary data from
	a PC via SCSI line and stored into internal buffer
	in the drive.
	Display out the messages if complete 
	"New firmware installation complete"
	or if error was happed "SCSI I/O error occurred."
	If you have trouble.....Please check connection
	or selected SCSI ID conflict or AC power supplyment
	and etc....
	CDR400 starts binary data copy from internal buffer to
	Flushmemory after all data received from a PC.
	DISC LED and READ LED on the front vessel
	starts blinking during operation period.
	When finished the Install operation, DISC LED lights
	orange color and READ LED turned off.
	You can check the Firmwre version number by
	INQUIRY command or reboot PC.
	If INSTALL complete correctly, MSCDEX can mount
	CDR400 using ordinary CD-ROM device driver.
	The CDR400 device type is "5".
	So ordinary CD-ROM device driver can handle CDR400.
