  1. This 11/10/97 date code Award BIOS is for the P5F83 Sparrow Motherboard.

  3. The following list includes all fixes and changes made in all BIOS files
  4. up to and including the 11/10/97 date code BIOS.

  7. Fixes, and or changes applied in 06/10/97 version
  8.  
  9. 1) This was the first BIOS available for this motherboard.

  12. Fixes, and or changes applied in 08/08/97 version
  13.  
  14. 1) The BIOS inability to correctly identify the Fujitsu M1624TAU depending
  15.    on when the drive was formatted which BIOS was used to format it.
  16. 2) Compatibility with the Diamond Stealth 2500 video card and any other
  17.    video card that uses the Alliance chipset.
  18. 3) Inability to use the Keyboard Turbo and Deturbo functions.

  23. 1) When using the Intel Pentium 233MHz MMX CPU and 16MB or 32MB DIMM
  24.    installed in DIMM slot two the system may appear dead upon boot up.
