  9. Da  Capo is a GEM-program which lets you manage your addresses. It runs as
  10. program  or  accessory  and  it  was written TOS-clean, so it needs only a
  11. TOS-compatible  platform  and  at least 512 KB RAM (in fact, it was tested
  12. successfully  from  the  Atari 520 ST with a monochrome SM124 and original
  13. TOS  up  to MagiCMac running on Apple's PowerPC with a 17" and 32K colours
  14. monitor). Da Capo supports the following features:

  16. ∙ intuitive user interface using actual GEM-standards (Clipboard, 
  17.   UNDO, Cut/Copy/Paste, non modal 3D-window dialogs, GDOS-fonts and 
  18.   -printing, online-help)
  19. ∙ shows your records as a table or mask with colour icons, each 
  20.   record has up to 30 fields, most of them can be labelled by the user
  21. ∙ supports GEMINI-AV-protocol (communication with accessories), 
  22.   1st-Base pipeline (CyPress), Selectric (for opening multiple files) 
  23.   and ST-Guide (hypertext help system)
  24. ∙ very flexible import and export (1ST_ADDR.DAT can be read directly) 
  25. ∙ lists for towns, countries... finds zip codes for towns 
  26.   automatically and vice versa
  27. ∙ autolocator in table and lists
  28. ∙ 3 grep-like search-functions: fulltext search, search for an entry 
  29.   and selection, all of them using wildcards
  30. ∙ finds and removes doubly defined addresses
  31. ∙ sorts your addresses by three fields
  32. ∙ reminds you of birthdays (an AUTO-folder/TTP is also included)

  34. This  program  is  shareware.  You  can  use and distribute it for private
  35. purposes, but you may not change any of the files included:

  52. The  unregistered version is limited to 40 records (!). If you use Da Capo
  53. for  more than three weeks, you have to pay your shareware fee. The actual

  94. The  latest English version of Da Capo can be obtained from Denesh Bhabuta
  95. free  of  charge  unless the shareware fee increases, by sending a Stamped
  96. Addressed Envelope and an unlabelled floppy disk.

  99. Installation
  100. ============

  102. The  program  is  ready  to  run.  Just  copy  DACAPO.APP, *.RSC and *.INF
  103. together  with  the  folder  DACAPO\  to any location on any drive. If you
  104. want  use  Da  Capo as accessory, rename its extension to *.ACC and put it
  105. together with *.RSC/*.INF onto your boot device.

  107. A  French  and  a German version are also available! Sorry, but I couldn't
  108. translate the ST-Guide online documentation, maybe next time...
