  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. When IBM VoiceType Dictation Version 1.1 has been running in either 
  15. OS/2 Warp or OS/2 Warp Fullpack and you try to shut it down, you 
  16. receive a "LaunchPad not responding" error, forcing you to shut down 
  17. the LaunchPad. However, you still are unable to shut down VoiceType 
  18. Dictation. You have to shut down and restart the system to end 
  19. VoiceType Dictation.

  21. RESOLUTION
  22.  
  23. Move the VoiceType Dictation icons originally created on the OS/2 
  24. Desktop back to the Desktop--especially Voice Settings. Voice Settings 
  25. MUST be on the Desktop for VoiceType Dictation to shut down correctly. 
  26. This is a known problem with Version 1.1.

  28. Note: If Voice Settings IS on the Desktop and the "LaunchPad is not
  29.       responding" error is received, check if the LaunchPad icon was
  30.       placed in a folder. If so, move it back to the Desktop; then shut
  31.       down and restart the system.
