Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures
--------------------------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
Changing the font size and type in WIN-OS/2 Program Manager
normally is not provided for and is, therefore, unsupported.
This document describes a work-around that is available.
Note: The work-around is limited in what it can do.
RESOLUTION
1. Open an OS/2 Window session.
2. At the command prompt, type the following and press Enter
to change to the WINOS2 directory:
CD OS2\MDOS\WINOS2
3. Type E WIN.INI and press Enter to edit the WIN.INI file.
4. Move to the Desktop section of the file. At the end of the
last line in the section, press Enter to add a new line.
5. Type the following, adding a number for the font size, and
press Enter:
IconTitleSize=
6. Type the following, adding a name for font (for example,
Helvetica, or Roman):
IconFaceName=
7. Click on File and then Save.
8. If prompted that there is no file type associated, click on
Type, highlight Plain Text, and then select Set.
9. Save and exit the file; then restart WIN-OS/2.
Note: This is an unsupported work-around; it will not work for
all font types or sizes.
