  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. Changing the font size and type in WIN-OS/2 Program Manager
  14. normally is not provided for and is, therefore, unsupported.
  15. This document describes a work-around that is available.
  16.  
  17. Note: The work-around is limited in what it can do.
  18.  
  19. RESOLUTION
  20.  
  21. 1. Open an OS/2 Window session.
  22.  
  23. 2. At the command prompt, type the following and press Enter
  24.    to change to the WINOS2 directory:
  25.  
  26.       CD OS2\MDOS\WINOS2
  27.  
  28. 3. Type E WIN.INI and press Enter to edit the WIN.INI file.
  29.  
  30. 4. Move to the Desktop section of the file. At the end of the
  31.    last line in the section, press Enter to add a new line.
  32.  
  33. 5. Type the following, adding a number for the font size, and
  34.    press Enter:   
  35.  
  36.       IconTitleSize=
  37.  
  38. 6. Type the following, adding a name for font (for example,
  39.    Helvetica, or Roman):
  40.  
  41.       IconFaceName=
  42.  
  43. 7. Click on File and then Save.                                         
  44.  
  45. 8. If prompted that there is no file type associated, click on 
  46.    Type, highlight Plain Text, and then select Set.
  47.  
  48. 9. Save and exit the file; then restart WIN-OS/2.   
  49.  
  50. Note: This is an unsupported work-around; it will not work for
  51.       all font types or sizes.
