======================================================================
Trident 9440 VLB Video Adapter Causes Video Corruption and System
Lockups in SLIPPM
======================================================================
Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures
--------------------------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
Systems with Trident 9440 VLB (VESA Local Bus) video adapters and
Trident AGI Series Video drivers for OS/2 (ver TA 1.0 [11]) lockup or
display video corruption when attempting to add or modify entries in
SLIPPM (ver 2.0 rev 1.16).
RESOLUTION
These video drivers are currently unsupported; you must contact Trident
for updated drivers.
This problem can be avoided by switching to VGA mode:
* On system startup, press Alt-F1.
* Type V at the recovery choices screen to reset the system to the VGA.
You can then add and modify entries in SLIPPM.
