  11. VoiceType for OS/2 Warp Enhancement was announced on 15 October, 1996. 
  12. This document gives a brief overview of the product and its hardware 
  13. and software requirements. For further information, call

  18. Product Description:
  19.  
  20. IBM VoiceType for OS/2 Warp Enhancement strengthens the VoiceType 
  21. support included in OS/2 Warp Version 4. This enhancement gives 
  22. professionals who dictate the ability to delay correcting their 
  23. dictation. There is no need to stop and make corrections as you are 
  24. dictating. You can correct the dictation when you are ready or delegate 
  25. the correcting to someone else.

  27. These VoiceType enhancements also provide the installation routine 
  28. needed to install industry language vocabularies for industries such as 
  29. Journalism, Medical, and Legal. The  industry-specific vocabularies 
  30. broaden an already extensive general office vocabulary and can provide 
  31. improved dictation productivity in these professions. (These additional 
  32. vocabularies are available through BestTeam members).

  36. PS/2, ValuePoint, Aptiva, ThinkPad or IBM Compatible with 90 MHz 
  37. Pentium processor with 256k L2 Cache and 16MB RAM (minimum).

  41. IBM OS/2 Warp 4 or later.

  43. Compatibility:

  45. VoiceType for OS/2 Warp Enhancement is compatible with applications 
  46. that are compatible with the VoiceType support in OS/2 Warp 4.

  50. VoiceType for OS/2 Warp Enhancement is NOT compatible with VoiceType 
  51. 3.0 for Windows 95.
