These files are in Library 10 (OS/2 Utilities) of the IBM PCC BBS.
DSK or xDK
------------
Files with the .DSK or .xDK extension (where x is a number; for
example, 1DK, 2DK) are in SAVEDSKF format.
1. Download file LDF.COM to get the LOADDSKF.EXE program to unpack
files to diskettes.
2. Run LDF from the OS/2 command prompt. A program called LOADDSKF
appears in the directory.
3. Type LOADDSKF xxxxxA: to create the new diskette (xxxxx is the
file name).
RAM Files
---------
Files with the RAM extension require the LOADRAM.EXE program to
access them.

access them.

2. Run PKZOS2 from the OS/2 command prompt. A program called PKUNZIP2
appears in the directory.
3. Type: PKUNZIP2 xxxxx.ZIP to uncompress the files in the current
directory (xxxxx is the file name).
Creating Diskettes from the Images
----------------------------------
1. Put all files in a single directory.
2. Type LDF and press Enter. This uncompresses LDF.COM and creates the
file, LOADDSKF.EXE, which is used to put the diskette images onto
diskettes.
The diskette images have a .DSK or .xDK extension (x is the sequence
of the downloaded diskette images, starting at 1.
3. Insert a blank, formatted, 1.44 MB, 3.5-inch diskette in drive A.
4. Type LOADDSKF IMAGE.DSK A: and press Enter.
Note: Specify a different drive, if appropriate (for example, B).
The first diskette image has the README.1ST file that provides
instructions for applying the FixPak to your system.
