  13. DESCRIPTION

  15. The following error message is received:
  16.  
  17.    Locked Files will not allow MPTS to start...
  18.    Shut down and reboot the system...
  19.  
  20. Even after the system is restarted, the same message is received.
  21.  
  22. RESOLUTION
  23.  
  24. At an OS/2 command prompt, change to the OS2\INSTALL directory and 
  25. delete the IBMLANLK.LST file; then restart the system. MPTS will start
  26. successfully.
