  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. A Dell Latitude XPI P100 laptop computer using a replicator port makes 
  15. repeated sounds when any sound is activated. For example, if you open a 
  16. window, the .wav file assigned to opening windows will play repeatedly, 
  17. until you perform another activity; then that sound will play 
  18. repeatedly.

  21. RESOLUTION

  23. Change the IRQ settings for the sound card from 10 to 5 (or 7). Then 
  24. edit the CONFIG.SYS file to reflect the change.

  27. the necessary modification:
