  13. DESCRIPTION

  15. Different error messages are received during installation, including:
  16.  
  17.    Allocating memory error....
  18.  
  19. And:

  21.    A program in this session encountered a problem and cannot
  22.    continue....

  24. The system's motherboard is an American Megatrend from PC Importers. It 
  25. comes with a VLMIO V1.2 or 1.4 Multi-I/O card.
  26.  
  27. The installation usually fails during the first phase. The INSTALL.LOG 
  28. file shows no error information. When the system is restarted, the 
  29. message "A program in this session...." appears. Pressing Alt+F2 
  30. indicates that device drivers IBM1FLPY.ADD and OS2DASD.DMD are causing 
  31. problems.

  35. Replace the card or get an updated BIOS for it.
