  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.  
  14. When OS/2 is installed on a drive other than C:, the system locks up or 
  15. fails to see the tape drive when opening the application.
  16.  
  17. RESOLUTION
  18.  
  19. The OS/2 PMTape Version 2 installation program automatically updates 
  20. whatever CONFIG.SYS file is on the C: drive. If you have OS/2 installed 
  21. on a drive other than C:, the CONFIG.SYS file in that drive is not 
  22. updated.

  24. After installing PMTape Version 2, add the following lines to the 
  25. CONFIG.SYS file on the drive where you have installed PMTape:

  27.   Device = X:\pmtape\ip2idrv.sys
  28.   Run = X:\pmtape\itdmn.exe
  29.  
  30.   where X: is the drive where you installed PMTape.
  31.  
  32. Shut down and restart your system. The problem should be solved.
