  15. The system locks up during installation when trying to copy OS2CHAR.DLL 
  16. from Diskette 1 for the second time just prior to the first restart. It 
  17. happens during a clean installation in the C partition.

  19. RESOLUTION

  21. This is a hardware configuration problem. 
  22.  
  23. Change the Local Bus IDE mode option from High Performance to 
  24. Compatible.
