  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. This document describes how to install OS/2 Warp on an IBM PC Server 
  14. with PCI Fast SCSI-2.
  15.  
  16. RESOLUTION
  17.  
  18. Note: Make sure you have a backup of any file you intend to change.
  19.  
  20. 1. If installation is from a CD, do a DISKCOPY of OS/2 Warp Diskette 1.
  21.  
  22. 2. Label the diskette, OS/2 Warp v3 Diskette 1 for PC Server.
  23.  
  24. 3. Copy the IBMPSCSI.ADD file from the IBM PCI Fast SCSI-2 Support
  25.    Diskette, which came with the system, to the new Diskette 1.
  26.  
  27.    Note: If there is not enough room for the file on the diskette,
  28.          delete AHA*.* files. These are for Adaptec controllers.
  29.  
  30. 4. Edit the CONFIG.SYS file on the new Diskette 1 and add the following
  31.    statement AFTER the IBMINT13.I13 statement:

  33.       BASEDEV=IBMPSCSI.ADD
  34.  
  35.    Note: Remove the BASEDEV=AHA* statements.

  37. 5. Save and exit the file.
  38.  
  39. 6. Restart the system from the Installation Diskette. When prompted to
  40.    insert Diskette 1, use the revised Diskette 1.
