  11. DESCRIPTION

  13. During restart, after a successful upgrade from OS/2 2.1 for Windows to 
  14. OS/2 Warp for Windows (Red Spine), an "APM.SYS can not be found" error 
  15. message appears.
  16.  
  17. This is because OS/2 Warp Red Spine upgrade fails to remove the 
  18. old 2.1 Advanced Power Management (APM) line from the CONFIG.SYS file.
  19. It leaves the line DEVICE=X:\OS2\APM.SYS and also adds a new line,
  20. DEVICE=X:\OS2\BOOT\APM.SYS.

  24. Edit the CONFIG.SYS file and manually delete the line 
  25. DEVICE=X:\OS2\APM.SYS.
